Suluq Economics is an independent, peer-reviewed scholarly journal rooted in the Islamic principles of Shariah economics and the progressive cultural heritage of Aceh, Indonesia. The journal advances interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of Islamic finance, sociocultural transformation, and sustainable development across Asia. By foregrounding Aceh’s legacy as a historical hub of Islamic scholarship and its unique synthesis of Adat (customary law) and Shariah, we critically engage with contemporary economic, political, educational, and cultural challenges facing Muslim-majority and pluralistic Asian societies.
