JROH: Jurnal Obat Hati is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that focuses on the integration of spirituality, emotional well-being, and socio-religious values, with a special emphasis on tasawuf (Islamic mysticism). The journal serves as an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, practitioners, and educators to explore the role of Sufism in addressing inner healing, moral development, and the cultivation of spiritual consciousness in contemporary society.
Published biannually, JROH welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, case studies, and literature reviews that delve into topics such as spiritual psychology, ethical behavior, self-purification (tazkiyat al-nafs), and the relevance of classical and modern Sufi teachings in promoting peace, resilience, and personal transformation. Contributions may come from various disciplines including religious studies, psychology, education, sociology, and cultural studies. By centering its discourse on tasawuf as a source of “medicine for the heart,” the journal seeks to illuminate pathways toward inner tranquility and spiritual maturity, especially in the face of modern emotional and moral challenges.
