Plagiarism Policy

JROH: Jurnal Obat Hati maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin before entering the peer review process.

  • Similarity Threshold: Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 20% (excluding properly cited quotations and references) will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected outright.

  • Types of Plagiarism: This includes, but is not limited to, direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, and improper paraphrasing without citation.

  • Editorial Action: If plagiarism is detected during the review or production stages, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is found after publication, the article may be retracted, and the author’s institution may be notified.

  • Author Responsibility: Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and must ensure that all sources are properly acknowledged.
